The Art of Understanding explores themes of marine science through an artist's perspective. It relates the emotional experiences that came with loosing my father with research environments and the professional science world. The final project was a combination of photography, illustration, and writing. It was exhibited as part of UCSC’s annual open studios event. I encourage viewers to take the time to read the text on each piece.
